About the role
Anugat AI is looking for a UI/UX Designer Intern to help design clean, intuitive, and modern product experiences for our academic productivity platform. You will work on interfaces used by faculty, administrators, students, and institutional leadership, turning complex academic workflows into simple and usable product experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real user problems, understands product design basics, and wants to contribute to an early-stage AI product being built for colleges and universities.
Responsibilities
- Design user-friendly web and mobile-responsive interfaces for Anugat AI products.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma.
- Improve existing product screens for usability, clarity, consistency, and visual polish.
- Work on dashboards, forms, cards, navigation flows, and product interaction patterns.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to make designs practical and implementation-ready.
- Review implemented screens and suggest improvements before release.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 months of prior UI/UX internship, freelance, or project-based experience.
- Strong understanding of layout, spacing, typography, hierarchy, and usability.
- Hands-on experience with Figma is required.
- Ability to create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and polished UI screens.
- Portfolio or sample work is mandatory.
- Interest in SaaS, dashboards, productivity tools, education technology, or AI products.
Good to have
- Experience designing dashboards, admin panels, or SaaS products.
- Basic understanding of design systems and reusable components.
- Familiarity with FigJam, Framer, Webflow, Canva, Notion, or similar tools.
- Understanding of accessibility basics.
